Phillip A. Wolfe, M.D.

Phillip A. Wolfe, M.D.Dr. Phillip Wolfe graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.A. degree in molecular, cellular and developmental biology. He received his M.D. from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD where he was honored to be selected for Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society. Dr. Wolfe completed internship and internal medicine residency while on active duty for the Air Force at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, Texas.

After serving three years in Japan as a board certified internist and Chief of Medicine, Dr. Wolfe returned to Wilford Hall to complete a gastroenterology fellowship in 1994.

Dr. Wolfe was assigned to Travis AFB, California as a board certified gastroenterologist from 1994-1998.  Upon leaving the Air Force, he chose ValleyCare Gastroenterology and joined the practice in May of 1998. Dr.Wolfe grew up in San Rafael and was happy to return to the Bay Area.

Dr. Wolfe is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology with the American Board of Internal Medicine.
