Insurance

We accept and bill for most insurance plans. When using insurance, please remember to verify, prior to your appointment, that we accept your insurance plan, that your plan is current, and that we have received a referral from your primary care provider, if required by your insurance. All HMO insurances do require an authorization/referral by your primary care physician.

Valleycare Gastroenterology Medical Group, Inc. participates with most insurance plans in this area. We recommend that you call our office to verify whether we participate with your current plan or any that you are considering changing to. Please remember to bring your insurance identification card with you at the time of your visit and be prepared to make any required copayment. For questions regarding insurance or billing, please call our office at 925-460-8167 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Valleycare Gastroenterology Medical Group, Inc. is contracted and accepts most PPO’s, Tricare and Medicare. We are also contracted with several HMO’s.

Fees

Fees are dependent upon each service provided. Laboratory, x-ray, surgery center, anasthesia and pathology services are billed separately by the company providing the service. If you have questions about the costs involved, please contact our patient account representative at 925-460-8167, option 5. Additional fees may be charged for missed appointments without 24 hour notice.
